Schpatcon was awsome (the 2 modules, 1 LARP and muchkin tournament that i did play in) but those of you who were there know this, those of you who weren't...shame on u. The next weekend was awsomew too. Mels , Dave, Garrick, Roo , Hal and myself all went to Betties Bay for the weekend and did sweet fuckall (this includes character improvements, chez grunt, munchkin, munchkin foo, dwala, eating, drinking loads, talkingmostly done by me ;p? oo oo oo and Mels, Garrick and I played with lego and did a whole childhood regression things). back at college this week and we have soooooo much work to do, no matter after this work is done no more work forever !! or until i actually start training for my job :-p 02/09/04 OMG!!!!! As some of you know we were supposed to watch Cat in the Hat....we didn't. We watched a Docu called Dog Town and Z-boys...WOW! The cinematography is incredible, your just caprtivated by the whole scene. The Docu is about the Zephyr team from a place called Dog Town in South Santamonica. If you appericate design and filmatography you will love it! 01/09/04 Well I am very happy with the weather today. No sunshine and birds signing and kissing and all that crap that goes with spring. Its cold and rainy, I love it! Just thought I shoudl share that...tomorrow we are watching cat in hat at college...wooohooo. Can't wait for the weekend espcially sat night really looking forward to dressing (especially now that I have an idea as what to dress up as) 31/08/04 Take the quiz: How EVIL are YOU?????? Could you guess? So ya we have this project for college to do a website using or containing flash about a children's book. So off I went digging in the garage for old books. Now some of you may have guessed that they are mostly in hebrew. This was a particularly good excersise since I had suggested to GeekDotNeo that I could lend him some of my old children's books to assist his study of the hebrew language(ask him about the theory he tells it better) Wow these books bring back memories and i am suddenly remembering old hebrew nursery ryhmes and stuff. Its fun! Makes me remember the days when the complications in life didnt hurt your heart only your precious little developing mind (and occasionally your knees). When the most difficult emotional hurdle you had to overcome was your mommy leaving you at nursery school and going away and when love was somethign you felt for everthing and everything felt for you. Nobody could break your heart because it wasnt put on such a high pedestal. When loving some-one meant you shared your sweeties with them and gave them lots of inoccent hugs and kisses. None of this flirting and hidden meanings and weird connetations to actions. None of this emotional turmoil of loving some1 who loves some1 else because back then love was ina bundance and you could love everybody, it didnt have to be 1 person exclusively. A time when "lets be friends" was a good phrase and coffee was yukky stuff mommy and daddy drank to make their eyes open in the morning and not a pre-requisit for sex or bad news or gossip. Gossip? what was that?. Playing doctor, doctor meant playing doctor doctor not dressed up sexy and ambiguaty was a very long word(i still cant spell). i can honestly say its my dearest friends that keep me alive and its for them that i wake up every morning 26/08/04 Well its been 4 days and a bit sans cigarettes, my throat is sore, im coughing like mad and i have a headache, but not all is bad cause i have money in my purse and none of it is earmarked for cigarettes...very cool, i can actually afford a blank cd to put all my work from college on(since i forgot my flash disk) and my parents are freely giving me money(the didnt want to sponsor my smoking habit, hence i quit, i got insentive"you get an allowance if you quit") Last night was my frist test. Wednesday night ~WitchCraft game. Not as bad as Sunday Night's Vampire game cause on wednesday we smoke outside but still, not taking a smoke break when everyone else does is hard. Last night's game was gr8! We tripped on A which was lots of fun and suprisingly somewhat productive. Other then the fact that the fairies taught me to be one of them and how to fl, we found the doorway to the other dimention that we needed to be on AND we manages...eventually...to save the gentelmen in distress and then i had to call the specialists in to save Mike(BabyAcid's character) cause he kinda got stuck where he was. Was fun. TNM tonight yay 16/08/04 So I decided to sleep on friday night, which was proably the best decision i've made all week since it helped tons with getting better(what? sleep helping you heel?no ways!) Sunday was cool, woke up around 1, had a ciggie and went to fetch Tracy, then we had breakies(or brunch or lunch or something) and then the 3 of us started project clean up house. Tracey and I tackled the kitchen and BabyAcid did the rest. We all did the lounge. Then chilled out till about 6 when BabyAcid kicked us out. Went home, showered and then had dinner. watched 2 weeks notice(damn these movies that make me cry, Sandra Bullok is soo pretty) Now I am back at college(was sick last weeks so I didnt go)Mels and Dave are back today(jump up and down and twirl around and get really excited) 10/08/04 wow what a weekend! First EVER DragonFire? and it kicked ass(and i won a book). Thanks so much to (Second Helpings of) Team (Dessicated) Steam Turtle for letting me be a part of the team. I had loads of fun and it was great getting to play some new systems. Things I will remember for as long as the alcahol soaked part of my brain stays alive: "I kick open the door" "there is a naked woman" "where is the, o sorry" close door I am sure there was more but that part of ym brain mustav died already, maybe its just comatosed and some nights with sleep sans alcahol will help at which point if there is more i will add it. 04/07/04 so if you look on the FridgeQuotes page you will see an entery by GeekDotNeo about googling...most people know you google some one by typing their name inot goodle , well some1 made it more efficient and 2 million times funnier(well some of them are just arb or boring but loads of them are funny) Googlism the] other is a pingu website with like extra yeti sports, lots of time waisting fun yeti sports 13/05/04 well my day was pretty much planned out for me. go to college, go home, wait for mels to call, maybe go for coffee, take my sister to maths, go home, change, pick my sister up from maths , go to gym, go to TNM and then home. Cute thing. Mark and i and this other woman are waiting by the school(well down the road from the school) we have a 30 min wait so we decide to have a ciggie. Some kids show up and the 1 says to the other very loudly DO YOU KNOW THAT SECOND HAND SMOKE CAN KILL YOU if i carry on gymming like i am now, the gym instructor says i will be fit in 6 weeks, cool huh? cant wait for that, maybe ill work harder..hmmm. Well im tired and i want sleep. so goodnight 12/05/04 Another day another<add stuff here>Well im happy it was raining, i dont care what any1 else thinks I love winter and rain and coldness. Today was a pretty regular every day kinda day. Went to college, discovered that my eye sight has gotten worse (i dont think it was sudden, i just really picked it up today, maybe i knew all along and was in denial) got home, made appoinment for eye check up, worked on college project (creating a 6 page website that celebrates a graphics package, in my case photoshop. If any1 has any funny photoshopped images please tell me and ill give u my email address and send 'em to me. After that i went to take my sister to maths, spent some time online, picked my sister up from maths and then went to Muay Thai. Half way through the class had to run out and move my car(hey, u try find decent parking there) and when i say run, i ran, cause if my ody had the chance to cool down i would land up being in serious pain after class. After Muay Thai went home, showered then went to witchcraft. Yay! first combat in witchcraft, lasted about 10 seconds cause the idiot dropped his knife and ran away. Now im home, happy that Cassie is home too and apperntly feeling better. Gonna go get ready for bed, read some Prachett etc.ya..the end and stuff(tm) 11/05/04 So I told you I was crap at thisWell I decided since I spend so much time staring at my irc windows and really not getting much of anything done I should maybe type some stuff in here. I know I've been bad but I had web comics to read. People kept talking about things I didn?t know so I decided to change that in areas I could like sluggy , ]] and Queen Of Wands and I?ve started reading Prachett... on Sorcery at the moment. The weekend was cool. Friday did the Friday night dinner thing, and then went to one ring and arb around there as we usually do. Sat watched TV most of the day and then went to Lucas and Simon's place and drank, chatted and stuff, had fun. Sunday spent the most of the day working on college stuff. We got my mom a mug and filled it with ferera roche(*sp) and Lindht chocolates and made her a cd of mushy songs. Then went through to game to buy me 10oz gloves for Muay Thai(yes at Dragon Power, yes the "bad guy" gym) and then worked for a bit more then went to game. Game was good, got to bring in my new character. See Greg's character is supposed to b this tough guy persona, but Mels' character has entranced him...so he's in love with her and Dave's character has haunted him for 3 months so when my character come sin, she doesn?t see this macho tough guy she?s been told so much about, more like neurotic, paranoid "leader's pet". So when she's invited to join the pack its like "well looks like u need me" My new character...think 5'4 tanned Arian who can stand perfectly balanced on a pipe while kicking in a steal door without breaking a sweat. * g * Potence 3, strength 3, dex 4, stamina 4, one of her merits: cat like balance, cool flaw: short. She gets underestimated way to often for other people?s health but loads for her enjoyment. One Ring was cool on sat night, spent most of the night playing strip thumb wars with Ian (the bartender) and yar see'ing people i havnt seen in a while. o and by the way the sword with the red hilt with a white cross on it...swiss army knife 22/1/04 Right so , we left off on tuesday evening with me wondering if any1 was willing to go out.....no1 ose. I spent wednesday evening at home, went to bed earlyish i think. Thats not to say that that was what the rest of the week was like AT ALL(there are a lot of that's in that sentence...er) Wednesday: boring day. Went to WithCraft? that night. We couldnt get a hold of Garrik so while waiting we played munchkin...which carried on too long. Garrik wasnt coming cause he was on set. We didnt role play :(...intead we went to One Ring...played pool, chatted. Thursday was a quiet day for the most part until thursday night. When my friend Tracey decided we have to go to Gandalf's. Now me, i was broke (still am technically) but Tracey was glad to shout me for the night so i went along with her plan. We go there, te only other people there we knew (apart from the barmen oh and whoever cares Ian is back from South America) were JP and Jamo, so we sat with them...drinking and complaining when the DJ (i cant remember his name now, the 1 with the blondish short hair..not Donovan) played DandB?...some is okie, but a whole half hour! Friday: did the whole shabbat dinner with my parents, cause my sister had gone out to a friend for dinner. Decided this friday we're making SUSHI (/me is sushi addict). Then got ready and went over to Tracey's work (Sauce cocktail bar in kloofnek) when Tracey closed up we headed off to Gandalf's. We went straight upstairs got drinks and saw Melanie and Dave there...oh and greg with Sims Hot Date (breathe Greg, breath ;P) Cassie was there also and Jason, and David and Colleen. Danced abit, chatted a lot. There was some guy there john who had really cool spikey thing onhis arm but that was the only cool thing about him. He tried to follow tracey into the Girl bathroom...she told him to piss off. Friday got home at about 4 aswell(although when we left Gandalf's i thought it was only 2...i forgot that we only got there at liked 12:30/1) Saterday: Had to be at work, so that sucked. 3 hours sleep and idecided to have coffee cause i dont usually drink coffee but desperate times.... The coolest part of Saterday is that i got to see FAME. If u have the money and the time you HAVE to go see it. It kicks ass! Got to bed about 1...nice and ...early Sunday: work again but with more sleep it was a little easier. Game on sunday night was fun. We lost Cassie but what we di find is a mad chaingling who thought she was a princess and promised to help us find Cassie if we got her a magical sword with a red hilt with a white cross on it(can u figure out what we went to go fetch...answer at the end of this entry) so we followed a ghost to find the hedgewizard(althought "princess Alia" called her an ogre..needless to say parfae and onion came into the conversation) so we got this "magikal sword" from her , i gave it to the fairy and she gave ne ab indian head penny....Garrik mad eme mark it down, so it must be speshul...then she told us to guess where the map was that would help us find the "dragon"(we havnt figured out if its a real dragon or not..this chagling is a little insane) and the Orce Incampment(Nosferatu Lair. Greg, Melanie and My Charachters all diablorised. i wonder what i can do with vissitude and seleraty...hmmmm...experimentation is needed. Monday: monday morning went with Tracey to medi-clinic to get allergy tested. I had the skin prick test thingi and she had both that and the blood test. then we went to my place, then to her place, then back to my place. Then to long street cafe for lunch. Then back to her place to get ready. We went to mercury live at about 9:30. Had 3 shots of sours and a spin. Then waited 45 min for drinks, i got 2 spins and a straw and finished them in 20 min. then a college mate gave me half of his spin. Then we went to gandalfs (R2 a shot on mondays, R6 for jack and tequila) and had a shot of vodka and 2 turbo sourz. went back to mercury with flyers to poach people for antonio, JP and his idiot friend Tim came with. Got back to mercury, got pulled into (yummy namibian boy called Renee) hung around there for abit till like 3, went BACK to Gandalf's, got free drinks for poaching. Took Cassie home, took Jp and idiot friend Tim to the petrol stations in Rondeboch(almost thru Tim out the car on Rondeboch main....but felt bad for jp cause he didnt really deserve to walk) then went back to town...i was dead....went to greenpoint/sea point..played spot the prostetute. Went back thru town and when i woke up at 5:30am we had pulled into Grand West casino. Waisted R20 in 10 min on 25c machines (and it only took that long cause we kept jumping around) went to look for the house of coffee's Early breakfast fro R13:90, no luck there ....Early at grand west means 9:30 am...it was 6. Went back to town and passed out for 2 and a half hours. 5 to eleven i wake up "Tacey arnt u sposed to be at work in like 5 minutes" we got dressed quick, took her to work, went home Tuesday: Went home had a shower, was gonna go to bed but felt bad for tracey, so i made toad in a hole and chicken rashins and cut up some fresh veggies and went to tracey's work, and we had breakfast. I was there till 11pm when she closed up (btw no offence to u Roo but your friend Ricardo is a doos) Wednesday(yesterda): went to my dads place to get my bumper fixed then went to sauce again nd spent the day there till 8 when i went to fetch my role play stuff and go thru to InfernalRabbi....alas no role play that night either, tho totally understandable since he had been working since 10 till 8:30. We chatted abit , had apple juice then BabyAcid and InfernalRabbi went to Gandalf's to meet up with Greg and Claire and i went back to sauce. Till Tracey closed up, then we also went to Gandalf's (but the boys and Clair weren't there anymore) we had a drink, watched marcus, jp and some toerh people arm wrestle. Nadine came over and we caught up on the week and then we went home , got home at about 3:30. and we shall see what today brings.... p.s. I spent thursday vegging as predicted until (yess u guessed it) I went to dinner with SynKronos and Nadine. I enjoyed the dinner, but not the service. We went to panchos and it seems that once there are over 3 tables full the waiter disappears, but we got what we wanted....eventually Monday went curtain shopping with Nadine, then went to Emma's birthday party at tavern. Was there till like 1:30 and today went for lunch with nay and then came home and vegged, and now im online. Maybe I will find some1 to come out with me tonight. 7/4/04 Where have all the hours gone?So this time i woke up at 12 so it wasnt morning. Spent the day watching tv, irc'ing and general vegging until 6 when i was convinced i was late for the game. I wasnt. Lucas told Roo that game starts around 6 which turned out to b 8 (after waiting for Lucas, calling Lucas, going back to Roo's place cause Lucas said he would be late, learning to play munchkin) but was a gr8 session none the less(see: EarthWardWednesdaySessionThree. Yesterday, if you were wondering, I was dragged around shopping again, this time cavendish but only 4 hours this time cause we went to watch Peter Pan, which is sooooooooo sweet. Its like even though u know the story you still hope that Peter will stay with wendy at the end.... 5/4/04 Wasnt it supposed to be 34 degrees today?!Well I woke up this morning , after a long hot night, knowing that I was supposed to take my sister and her JHB friends to the beach today. I took one look out the window and realised that...woohhooo I am free of that duty (and as I write/type this I get more signs from nature that today is no day for the beach....the wind has started up) The End |
