HumptyComics

You are on the archive wiki. The new wiki is here.

Some web comics I read regularly.

You guys should go to the first one of each and work your way through. These are the ultimate WAP tools.

  • Sluggy Freelance http://www.sluggy.com - This here is Pete's comic, worship the comic!
    • Wait until Monday mornings to catch up on a whole week.
  • Inktank http://www.inktank.com - One of the best out there.
    • Barry Smith puts out 3 different strips a week. Monday, Wednesday and Friday is given over to Angst Technology. A strip about a game development company. Tuesdays are for Weakend Warriors. A strip about a group of guys who hang out at a paint ball field. And on Thursdays there is Sorry, we're open. A strip about a couple of brothers who own and run a gaming store.
  • Something Positive http://www.somethingpositive.net - A very cool, but very warped comic.
    • Randy Milholland (the artist) has just managed to raise enough money to allow him to quit his full time job and draw this comic full time. Things are looking up!
  • Queen of Wands http://www.queenofwands.net - A very good womancentric comic by Aeire.
    • If you start from day dot, give it some time to develop the characters. The artwork also improves drastically.
    • If you read the current strips, you will be hopelessly lost.
  • User Friendly http://www.userfriendly.org - This is one for all the computer geeks out there.
  • PvP? Online http://www.pvponline.com - About a computer gaming magazine. My current favourite.
    • If you start from the begining, give it a while the artwork improves after 1999-06-06 and so does the story.
  • Sexy Losers http://sexylosers.com/ - A very sick 'toon! You have been warned
  • Elf Only Inn http://www.elfonlyinn.net - A very good cartoon based on the IRC, give it a while.
  • Sinfest http://sinfest.net - The hand puppets of God, nuff said.
    • Tatsuya Ishida produces some very good artwork on this strip. His style is reminiscent of Bill Waterson's. If you have to ask who Bill Waterson is then I'm afraid giant monkeys are coming to your house right now to give you a napalm enema!
  • Nodwick http://archive.gamespy.com/comics/nodwick/ - A weekly comic about a Henchman for a group of adventurers.
    • Based heavily on Dungeons and Dragons. Immensely entertaining and very well drawn!
  • Full Frontal Nerdity http://archive.gamespy.com/comics/nodwick/ - Four geeks. No lives. Roll for initiative
    • A weekly comic about four table gamers drawn by the Aaron Williams. The same guy responsible for Nodwick.
  • Schlock Mercenary http://www.schlockmercenary.com - OMMMMINUS HUMMMMMM followed shortly by THOOOOOM and AIEE! MY EYES!!! IT BURNS!!!!
    • Damn this is good! I was doing my best not to laugh out loud (I work in an open plan office), people were wondering what the choking sound was. Start from the begining. Go now....... NOW I said!
  • Ctrl-Alt-Del http://www.ctrlaltdel-online.com - Happy Wintereenmass to you! (Oh you will get it later)
    • Brilliantly drawn and very funny. Watch for the "Chef Brian Says:" comics, gives twisted a new poster child.
  • Order of the Stick http://www.giantitp.com/cgi-bin/GiantITP/ootscript - :-D Stick figure D&D party.
    • If you are into D&D and any other roleplaying games you will love this.
  • Help Desk (aka Ubersoft) http://ubersoft.net/ - The Help Desk crew at Ubersoft
    • If you dislike Microsoft and the stupid things they sometimes do then this will tickle your fancy.
  • Vexxarr! http://www.vexxarr.com/ - Invading alien and his robot who get their asses handed to them by the human military (read American, but it's not that bad).
    • If you enjoy Invader Zim, this follows very similar lines.
  • The Pet Professional http://www.petprofessional.net/ - Pet Hitman. Nuff said.
    • Man I love this twisted take on a professional hitman who only takes out pets. Better handled than you would first think.

Well that's it for this page. If you want more web comics go to WebComics, the ClawWiki repository of all things web comic related.
