You are an ambitious, impatient man whose brilliant tactical skills command respect and fear, but not love, in the armed forces. You are well known for your raging temper. You are extremely sensitive about your humble origins. You hate to be reminded of them. Being so causes you to have extremely mixed feelings towards the aristocracy. They enrage you with their condescension, but you wish to emulate them. You also have difficulty dealing with the peasants. You will callously and savagely strike down those you believe slight you. But your own accent is unmistakeably common. In religion you are more superstitious than churchy, thereby owing your faith to your peasant roots. You defer to the priesthood to the point of obsequy. You are wary in Fiorio because the isolation of the province means you cannot call on soldiers in any large numbers. You are also the illegitimate father of RosaCacoatl, though you believe you are the only living person who knows this. Even she does not know. Though you hate Rosa's politics and fear her personally, you cannot bring yourself to destroy one of your own blood. Also you may need her since she has great influence amongst the peasants.
