CLAWroomInExile

You are on the archive wiki. The new wiki is here. I think that the current lack of a CLAWroom makes it difficult for newbies to become acquainted with existing CLAWmembers. In the good old days, a newbie could come to the room, and although he, she or it might not know anyone inside from a bar of soap, it would be a reasonable assumption that everyone there was a CLAWmember and could be accosted for information about various nefarious society activities.

We don't have that anymore. It's all very well saying that we're usually at Cafe Nescafecafecafe or at the tables on Jammie Plaza, but we're not always there - and newbies who don't know anyone can't easily identify us in the throng. And one feels a bit of a prat walking around shouting "Are there any CLAWmembers here?", especially if it turns out that there aren't. We have thus lost one of the best ways of attracting new people.

In an attempt to remedy this, I have made some handy signs which say CLAWroom in exile.

They are designed to be printed out, stuck onto an A4 piece of cardboard (such as can be found on the back of an exam pad), folded in half and placed on a table. I'm pretty sure the long one will support itself without cardboard, too. If you frequent the CLAWroom in exile, feel free to grab one of these. Carry it around in your bag, and whenever critical CLAWmember mass (2.5) is attained at the Nescafecafecafe, triumphantly claim your table in the name of CLAWs.

Further projects relating to our current expatriate existence can go up here.
