You are on the archive wiki. The new wiki is here. Had an awesome evening last night. Started off with a coctail-filled outing to Primi Piatti in Cavendish. Cosmopolitans are awesome. There's this evil blue thing called a South Easter. Oh, and we also had amazing pasta. Yumm. After requesting that they not play that damn Maroon 5 song for the fourth time, we got Alicia Keys. V cool. There were no taxi's running by the time we left, so we walked to Erica's place. Well, stumbled sozzledly. Not too bad tho. Watched Survivor. Disagree with Synk's judgement of Rob. He is manipulative and evil, but a good player. He'd be awesome in a LARP.

Then got picked up by Phleep, Andrew and Hendrik to go to Stellenbosch to watch Krakatoa, the coolest band ever. Yes, I'm a frotho Krakatoa fangirl. But they really are cool. They played at the Mystic Boer. They weren't on yet, so we played some Foozball. I told Alan and Ben that I hadn't played before, and they were like "no, that's fine". So Phleep and I played them, cos they'd beaten Andrew and Koji. Hehe, we slaughtered them. Alan called me a "foozball shark" :-p. We won 2 games out of 3. Then we got challenged by some locals, and lost badly. I shouldn't play games, I get too involved. Just before we were done, the first band played. I don't remember their name, but they sucked. The vocalist was shit and incoherent, their music was boring and generic, and the bassist was so drunk he couldn't play, which was why they stopped after 3 songs. Thank god. Then Krakatoa played, and the locals didn't know what hit them. They were foot-tapping along to the original stylings of the leet band. I really really like Krakatoa. They are playing on Saturday at the One Ring, and all y'all better be there! Ivan's bopping on stage is soooo cute.
