You are on the archive wiki. The new wiki is here. What a great weekend! The event was soooo cool. I'm lank tired, feel like I've been at a roleplaying con. Up early, lots of work, bed late. Drinking. I won't bore all you mundanes with the fine details, so here's some highlights:

1) Jessica got elevated to the Order of the Pelican. This is a Society-wide award, perhaps better than royalty, as ppl have to vote you in, you don't win it by combat like the Crown. A Pelican is for exemplary service to the Kingdom/Society. She really deserves it.

2) Eckhard got elevated to the Order of the Laurel. On same level as Pelican, but this is for prowess in an Art (in Eckie's case tabletweaving), and teaching. He is a tabletweaving God. They will both have the ceremony when they go to Coronation in Finland in January.

3) D@vid got an Award of Arms, which means he is now Lord Rrrrraoul. An AoA? is what one gets as a starter-level after a couple years of being cool and doing stuffs. Like the Queen said "it's a sign that We see your potential to be a good contributor".

4) The Queen was cool, gave out lots of stuffs. The lick 'n stick gnomes (ask me sometime) all got rings, and Belladonna (the singing group) got silver coins pressed for the current Royalty's reign.

5) Karen (Neil's wife) got elevated to the Order of the Lindqvistringe. This is a Kingdom award for service. She really derserved it, she's done so much for the Shire, and she ran an amazing away-event while being heavily pregnant!

6) Claire got many things, for being the Queen's lady-in-waiting, for being a cool bardic person (she's now Bard for this region).

7) Did some cool Illumination. That's the pretty pics around the edges of mediecal scrolls. Looking forward to full calligraphy class at Kingdom University in 2 weeks' time.

8) There was lots of fighting, drinking, feasting, etc. It was very cool. I hope alot more new people come to future events. It's really a worthwhile hobby.

I'm pretty sure I've left something out, but I guess most of you are not that interested anyway. I'll remember sometime, and tell anyone who sits still long enough. It's really cool to have a life-encompassing hobby ;-). Now to get started on that enormous blackwork project... tick tick tick
