At 21h00 last night, the second of the Mayan gems was stolen while en route to the museum. Museum board members have refused to comment on the situation but have simply stated that the third gem is being held in a secure facility and will only be transported at a later date once adequate security measures are in palce. These thefts represent a cost of 1.2 Million dollars in museum funds, not to mention the loss of life. Once again the "angel of death", as he has been called by the media, swooped in last night to steal the second gem after the transport vehicle had been almost completely melted by what appeared to be creatures made entirely of fire. There are unconfirmed reports that there are in fact 2 of these angel beings. Ammateur video footage shows what could possibly be a second being overseeing the situation. Witness reports indicate that the person had wings a metalic glint, much like the one that stole the gems. Who are these fallen angels? Why are they after these gems? Unfortunately local authorities had no comment and no heroes have been active lately. Is this just the begining of an increase in the rate of crime in the manhatten area? Only time will tell.
