so this is where all the experiences have led me
I was sorely tempted to call the page "Stop Running" but that reference is too obvious for people who have watch late night friday tv, especially if I added in "God sez:"
I've given myself definite time limits for thing I have to do, like buy a car. (first car then place) The test will be me actually keeping to them. If I don't actually really and truly try and let it slide, then I'm nothing more than hot air. And the path that I want to follow means diddly-squat. Because it is all linked together ultimately.
Although for some or other reason I woke up this morning with a doubt and I've got ask myself "why?" I think it's got to do with social conscience and actual conscience. That one you can figure out for yourself - you're all bright people. Or am I giving some more credit than I should?
So back to events in the real world. {rolleyes}
The weekend was fun. Got to see Paycheck with a friend and his girlfriend on friday. Good movie, so-so company. {confused}
Saturday went to see HB (after already watching it on dvd) maybe I went JUST so that I can get the "special collectors' card". Afterwards met up with others at Mugg & Bean. Then off to Belly Dancing. What a blast...who wouldn't give up the chance to see flexible (mostly) nubile women dancing. Also recognised someone on stage, other than Andie. Only marred by a headache and lack of sleep, but that didn't detract.
Sunday was LARP meeting time and although leaps and bounds were made, I think I've encountered the first hurdle. That evening was bugged by some teenagers about running a Vampire game for them. Hell, I'll do it. But it's funny that it's guys from the youth I used to lead...I think it's a natural progression for them. I'm in no way a influence on them...well maybe a little one. After all they're really into Munchkin now. {cool}
And last night was spent looking for stuff and chatting to E. Found some poetry I wrote a long long time, no not in a galaxy far away. Maybe one day I'll post it.
