friday evening was a mixed feelings evening - Kevin (& Tarryn) had his going away party at his place. They left yesterday for London - at least I know I have a place to stay when I get there...Kev's said he'll keep a room open for me at the flat until I'm there.
saturday spent the morning into afternoon with Hayley on the beach. Whoever wrong that "Don't forget the Sunscreen speech" was right - my feet are still red and slightly sore. after that went to Stace and Brian's cos they were moaning about seeing me before I go...ended up playing call of duty on a lan before going for sun downers with S&B and the others...was fun. went for pizza afterwards. sunday kicked off with a larp meeting...was interesting, a huge recap and rewrite session. sheesh, but it was fun. after that ended up at the V&A for drinks with H & cousins + a canadian guys studying law at uct.

last night I finally watched Donnie Darko...my initial reaction was WTF! but that settled down eventually. I like the fact that the whole movie is simply about irony...well the way I see it.

Now I'm heading Av's to keep her company while she makes supper and I wait for my lift for the fun and games this evening. Might even make a turn at Sobiet or whatever it's called. Lark is having a cd launch...only heard the tracks while they were being mastered..I wanna hear it now. especially seeing that I. sounds soooo much like Kate Bush, without realising it.
