I got shouted at yesterday by the IT guy cos I downloaded a 40 Mb MOV...not that I care - getting the fullscreen trailer for the BDM was worth it. must admit I don't know what was worse: River seriously kicking butt OR her childlike expression while she's doing it? Must admit, 4 of us crowded around Philip's computer was an interesting and fun way to view the trailer for Serenity. Plus I might be involved in the release of the Serenity RPG over in the UK if I can get some minor details sorted out. I'm such a fanboy, I know. Saw Returner this past weekend, finally was able to track a copy down - awesome...okay some of the dubbing was off, but it's one of the best live action anime I've seen in a lo-ong time (and that includes Matrix movies-hell yes, the Matrix movies are L.A. anime) Now I've got 5 characters to write up for tomorrow's meeting - easy peasy considering the bandwidth for the internet here has been used up..no, not by me. Now to phone some of them to see what they have to say...or I could just spring it on them...MWAH-HA-HAH-HA! Actually everything starts off now...and in a big way too. Oh...if anyone speaks to Liz or Brendan, tell them that her name is Jo (if they're confused, they've got to think back to the last time they saw me) I so love in-jokes/secrets. Now I'm waiting on Thomas again - last saturday I told him to send me his lease...am still waiting for it to arrive. I think I'll phone the UK in a lil while. And as a way of advance warning - I'm going to be having a paintball game the weekend before I go - I'll only know which weekend once my visa's been approved. Giving warning now cos I know Ork_Krist wanted advance warning so that he could organise a CLAWs unit to play...which should be interesting (maybe not, it's just KAOS with bruises). Although the only person I really want to take on in a P-B game is Hendri...it's a case of "professional curiousity" (mind you I could have a death wish too) Anyway...back to making as if I'm working, telling the students there's no internet and listening to the Resident Evil soundtrack over and over cos it's the only music I have here...
