Got a vehicle, people to do the grab, worked out the flow of events that would lead up to the grab. yesterday morning I phone Pete to inform him of how it was going down and he cans the idea. Gave me a cockamaney story about how timing for this kind of fundraiser was out and people would rather have value-for-money, I was like uh-huh! uh-huh! uh-huh! until he finished talking, hung up the phone and moped. Consider going ahead with the kidnapping anyway and then forget where I stash him. Between internet being down and having access to the terminal server set up on my pc I never did much other than repeat "internet is down" everytime a student came in. Wanna guess what they did? 50 points for those that went with left. Folks remember: points are worth DIDDELY :-D Last night what was orginally a simple drop something off visit turned into a fun evening with friends when I went to Hendri's place. I was simply dropping off the one thing that would prevent him from breaking my leg...or attempting anyway:-) braaing should always be that much fun. And I has one person who's dead keen on playing in my Con X game Although there are 3 others that want in...and I'm freaked cos they're all excellent DMs? and I'm me...ah what the HELL! Although I did start the evening off with a dampner - upset a close friend before heading to make the delivery, although I think we might come to some kinda truce tonight when I head out for Eugene's birthday party at the Coffee Bean. Now I have to watch students finishing up their VB projects before their exam in a couple of hours....what fun. Was reading the Cape Times this morning...glossed over the whole shark attack incident. As far as I'm concerned Tyna Webb knew exactly what she was doing and was prepared to accept the consequences - if that makes me cold then so be it. That's me...actually most people come to think of it: people can generally stand up for themselves. But the moment people go after kids and animals I tend to get mildly pissed. |
