The surprise party for Eugene on wednesday evening was that - a surprise. For once Carla, Eugene's fiancee, was actually able to keep a secret from him. He was dumbstruck when he walked in on us looking like rejects from a science lab; the theme was "Chemicals & Explosions" 'cos he's doing his masters for chemical engineering. After that we trekked to the Coffee Bean to cos one of the group plays there regularly on a wednesday evening. I also went to visit someone I had pissed off in a big way, I was very glad that they were prepared to talk to me. The conversation went a LOT better than I thought it would. When I got home I looked over the wall for no apparent reason...last night I found out that someone had climbed over the wall and had a crap outside the kitchen door...nice world we live in. Yesterday was a normal day at work sans less students. At lunch time instead of going to Outers like I normally do I took a walk through the Gardens to do some sketches for an idea that I've had in my head for a lo-ong time...I've just been shit scared of stepping off the edge into the abyss with it. Last night I got to chat to my baby sister who I haven't seen since I ran into her at the Holistic Fair I went to with Erica, Ian and Michelle. No, not Gaenor...my baby sister. yes I know for those who know I only have one sister that is confusing, but I do have a baby sister. She invited me to get together with her and her friends saturday night cos they're doing an all nighter. I'm going once I get my ex-collegues out the house after the braai we're having. Plus I'll be starting that vampire campaign on sunday with little to no sleep...should be fun. Also tonight is the LAST episode of Jeremiah for those that are interested...and there won't be a third season cos JMS walked away. And if the execs have their way it'll be shite!
