(the other LotR ;)
In the wake of the Great Disaster, humankind has learnt to survive as best it can amongst the rubble of its former glory. Within the scattered tribes a new class is emerging, as knowledgeable as the shamans, but drawing their inspiration from the relics of the past. These fractious academics are finally piecing their hoarded secrets together, and have promised the Overlord a complete lexicon of the new age within three moons.
See CLAWmarks? 34 for an introduction to the concept, or just read the basic rules.

Turn H begins... when we're ready to proceed.
How to start
- Read the original Lexicon rules at The 20' By 20' Room
- Read the Lexicon Rubble tweaks/example/discussion
- Describe your character (listed below)
- Write an entry (50-200 words) for A, including two phantom citations
- Wait until the next turn (Tuesday/Friday) to write the entry for the next letter, with one existing citation, and two phantom citations
How to catch up
- Get started as above
- As long as you write more than two entries per week, you'll catch up with the current turn
Suggestions
- Take your time with each entry
- Don't reference existing fiction/game worlds
- If wiki markup gets you down, just leave a simple reference and somebody else (who, me?) will tidy it up
- If you're going to fill in a phantom entry, first lay claim to it in the alphabetical list below, so that somebody else doesn't start writing it at the same time.
- Click the "Backlinks" link at the bottom of the page to quickly find the other articles linking to an entry.
