The Inklings are putting on a production of Terry Pratchett's Wyrd Sisters (presumably based on Stephen Briggs' adaptation).

Comments
- overall a very entertaining production - it's difficult to pull off the quick scene changes that Briggs uses (to mimic Pterry's jumping back and forth) and I reckon they managed okay - the only other option is to space-multiplex the stage, which can be distracting - turns out the Friday bunch missed the appearance of the real Death during the play (by which I mean it didn't happen, not that all 14 ppl went to buy crisps at the same time :) - I was a bit disappointed that the spell scene didn't involve a glitterball and Granny on a broomstick as she flew 'round the kingdom, but that's just me - looking forward to Maskerade - d@vid June 7 2004

- Convoy:* Convoy details changed - meeting at 18h10 at my place to leave by 18h30 for Stellenbosch. Don't be late! The reason for the change is twofold. Firstly, Roo got very little sleep last night thanks to roadworks and might not be coming, and secondly the N2 is a faster route than the N1, and my place is the closest to the N2
Okay, good lord, looking at the timings here, wtf is up? We could leave at 7pm and still get there well in time. So I suggest meeting at 6:30 to leave at 7. What say you? -- SynKronos
Play starts at 20h15, to get good seats we need to be there by 19h40. (13 tickets have been reserved for us by the director. Payment at the door.)
