Session Six
That Friday the coven arrives at school to find men at work...installing metal detectors at all of the entrances and exit. Peri and Skin are both immediately furious. Candy walks past Ms Michaels' classroom and sees her talking to three new students...two of whom...redhead twins...are very magickal and have unusually catlike eyes. The third seems very subdued, and Ms Michaels is giving all of them a hard time.
The third new child turns out to be a boy named John. The left side of his body is horribly mangled...scar tissue pulls his mouth skew and his left eye is white with cataracts. His left arm hangs uselessly at his side, the fingers curled into an arthritic claw. He walks with a limp, and seems to be wearing a brace beneath his jacket. Michael is sure he knows him, but can't remember where from.
They all retreat to the basement to discuss what they're going to do about the metal detectors...except JM who goes to do his driver's test...and passes. Skin decides to summon a small electricity elemental, and Kevin wards them all as he does so. The elemental...Bzzt...enters into compact with Skin: he will be given free reign of the school during the week and of the town during the weekends, if he messes with the metal detectors and cctv cameras as much as possible. He leaps into the mains with a spark of delight. i like bzzt. -skin
That night, Michael, JM and Candy go to a rave. They are having a good time when a Vin Diesel lookalike arrives, giving a gift to the birthday girl and bad feelings to the three. Michael's shield immediately starts to leak, and Candy takes him outside. The muscled newcomer sees JM and confronts him, asking if he is invited. JM flashes a smile and waves at Sarah, the birthday girl. She waves back, and Uncle Jack is satisfied.
In the garden, Michael has seen two people sneaking around in the neighbour's yard. They look up and see him watching them, and in a moment of panic he tries to put them to sleep. He misses and a magickal flare goes up. The two jump the fence, and Michael and Candy run into the house, grabbing JM as they go. They burst out of the front door and are met by sniper fire from the surrounding rooftops. As they dive into JM's limo, Candy feels something sting her neck. She reaches up and pulls out a tranq dart. A high-speed chase ensues with the limo being followed by a black panel-van and an unmarked black sedan. Michael explodes a tyre on the one car, and Candy snaps the accelerator pedal of the other. They manage to escape to JM's mansion, leaving both chasing cars as smouldering wrecks.
At the other party, Skin is finding himself the center of attention of an exotic young woman. He follows her up to a bedroom...as Peri and Kevin realise she is a Succubus. They run up the stairs to find the door locked. They force it open and a lizard-ting slithers off of Skin and out of the window. Skin is less than pleased, but looking a little drained. and not drained in the good way either... didn't even get my pants off. -skin
They go downstairs to discover two military-types sitting on a couch drinking beers. As they walk out onto the porch, the crewcuts follow them, and are joined by four others, toting rifles. They suggest that the three come with them, and after a brief tete-a-tete, they decide they aren't going to argue. They step into the back of a black van, and arrive in an open field, with a silver trailer in the middle of it. Surrounding the trailer are several armed uniforms, a number of MIBs?, one wrecked panel van and a totalled sedan. A helicopter stands to the side with blades gently spinning. They are ushered into the trailer, where a labcoated doctor is waiting for them. They are told that the agency has become aware of their behaviour and must now track them for their own good. They shrug...none of them are in the mood for a stand-up fight with armed government agents. Tracker chips are inserted deep into their hipbones. They arrive back at the party limping slightly. They return to JM's mansion to find Candy paralysed and being generally abused. Eventually the tranq wears off, the Skin's disappointment. and many "in your ass" jokes were bandied about. it was worth it to get a look at peri's naked ass. heh. how you doing? -skin
Candy is cornered the next day by two agents who explain to her in a very civil way that she must be tagged. She agrees to it for a trade of cookies and ice-cream...which she gets.
JM asks them if they have another option, and receives a bracelet. Candy is furious.
