Weapons of Un-Realism
The Rocket Shotgun:
This weapon resembles a sawn-off double-barreled shotgun in most respects, although the barrels are slightly wider and shorter, while the trigger mechanism functions rather differently. However, it does feature the same Crack-It-Open-To-Reload feature. Unlike a normal shotgun, however, this weapon is loaded with unguided rockets. These small missiles are about 2 to 3 times the length of a shotgun shell and only a little wider. Their heads feature a Detonation-On-Impact trigger and are loaded with a small amount of highly explosive chemicals. While a very deadly weapon, the Rocket Shotgun is difficult to aim and ammunition for it takes up a fair amount of room.
Shotgun-Pistol:
The in-fighters favourite, this weapon resembles a cross between a flare-gun and and sawn-off shotgun. This weapon is only capable of loading a single shotgun-shell at a time and has to be reloaded in a similar manner to a normal sawn-off shotgun. The stubby barrel of this gun makes ranged combat virtually impossible. However, for an up-close-and-personal encounter this weapon is very useful, as a faceful of pellets stops pretty much anything in its tracks.
