The 8th fleet is missing. It's been missing for nearly 4 years, effectively. Sent to New Jerusalem and tasked with the conquest of the peaceful, agragrian Jerusalemite society, the 8th fleet should have encountered few problems. However, something has gone wrong. Even more unfortunately, no one's sure what went wrong. The CEF (Colonial Expeditionary Force) hasn't recieved a message drone from the fleet since it entered the New Jerusalem system and it can only conceal news of the fleet's disappearance for so long. Short on time and uncertain as to what must be done, the CEF can only hope that the covert investigative mission it dispatched is able to return with solid information about the situation.

Player's will take on the role of members of the CEF or NECAF (New Earth Commonwealth Armed Forces) sent on a special mission to a distant region of space. Time is of the essence to the elite team of soldiers sent to investigate and only quick action and even quicker thinking will carry the day. Players will be able to play humans, GRELs? (Genetically Recombined Experimental Legionnaires) and SLEDGES (Second Line Elite Division GRELs?). Only the best-of-the-best will be selected for this mission and a diverse team is a must.
