Were they the superbings who created the Pyramids, the enslavers of humanity, or simply visitors from elsewhere. No one knows. The one thing all tales agree, they left Earth and are now on their way back. Some tell that the Atlanteans were a group who broke away from them. And depending who you ask, where either rebel scum or emancipating saints. They were attacked by the main group, and the fabled Isle was sunk. More than six thousand years later, a group of first year students are personaly invited to a celebration of Beltaine by Elder Laryssa. She is the head of the Covenant of Wiccans, she has sensed the power of their Gift and wants them to aid them in the true purpose of the celebration. The witches do not want the ante-deluvians to return, they will be performing a Ritual on Table Mountain during the Beltaine Festival that will erect a ward around the planet.
