If you have a suggestion, post it here! Eventually, it may be worth starting a new page about, or even doing something about.

yeah yeah I'll move these to a more suitable page eventually - d@vid Oct 23 2004
I don't know if this has been raised before but what I would like is for the 'last modified blogs' to display the date and time of modification in the same way as the 'last changes', i.e. when you hover your curser over them.
is it possible to tell when a blog has had comments added? I haven't 'specially noticed
more visible comment button/options (see also above - basically we need cleaner blog layout, like livejournal, say - d@vid)
Chance left hand nav bar to display images instead of that ugly - and + (Look at Tikiwiki homepage)
Download latest CSS styles and replace (just gota dump them in). The new styles have been updated and look MUCH nicer (especially the tiki.css).
Remove the bloody footer (or at least make it pretty). It just really ruins the page.
how do you make them float? eg, the ))Ro-Man(( picture on CLAWmarks32? is aligned to the right, but text appears underneath it rather than on the left
Give PolishProffesional admin rights. At least partial so I can fix CSS styles. I swear on my grandfathers home-made Polish vodka not to break everything.
I should point out that the tiki is not currently disallowed in http://claws.uct.ac.za/robots.txt - i.e. it is searchable by google
I find this kind of useful but I recall people having issues, previously - how about making the tiki proper searchable, but blogs not? (sigh, there goes any chance at encouraging RealNamesPlease)
shortcut external links (called "external wiki links") should work like this... [ [[shortcut:target]] ], e.g. wikipedia:Dungeons_&_Dragons?
but, there does not seem to be a way to create alternate text for shortcut links (frex, something like [ [[wikipedia:Dungeons_&_Dragons|D&D]] ] for the above, or [ [blog:20|this guy likes chocolate]] ...
how do you do use shortcuts instead of creating a regular external link of the [ http://blah|alternate text]] variety?
...and once we've done that, different external icons for different shortcuts (e.g. mailto: blog: wikipedia:)
places for admins to ask questions: http://doc.tikiwiki.org/tiki-index.php & fill in irc channel details here
redirects are currently a bit ghastly - how easy would it be to not insert *(Redirected from Blah)* after the main heading? I don't reckon we need the text on the page at all (you can see it in the URL)
I suggest that we upgrade the wiki - there're a bunch of options out there, features I think would be useful are:
I also suggest reorganising the wiki into categories, how useful having parallel wikis will be is debatable, but I see the following divisions being useful:
so we'd have a blog at [http://claws.uct.ac.za/members/ShadowsBlag], a character summary at [http://claws.uct.ac.za/games/ThirtyThirdPrecinctCharacters], and the AGM announcement at [http://claws.uct.ac.za/spon/AnnualGnarliburrMarathon]
the ClawWiki directory would remain and, after a period of grace (say, 'til the end of 2004), be frozen as an archive
comments?
I suggest that we pick a standardized way of spelling Wiki page titles that are ))ClawWords?". I suggest that we change all existing instances of CLAWwords to ClawWords?(except ((CLAWs?, which doesn't count).
We have a noticeboard. It is small and piddly, but nonetheless an actual noticeboard. What's on it at the moment? We could make cute little pamphlets packed with useful contact details and stick them in a little box on the noticeboard (and then some wankers would probably throw them all away, but we could hire some mercenaries with paint guns to guard the box). Or we could just make a poster with contact details.
