RpgaModuleGuidelines

You are on the archive wiki. The new wiki is here. The ICON roleplaying convention in Joburg has for quite a few years used the RPGA module writing guidelines as the standard format for its modules. A few Capetonians don't really think this is a good thing and that flavour text boxes should die, die, die, but hey, it's how things are.

At one point ICON was RPGA-sanctioned, so these guidelines were more or less mandatory, but this is no longer the case, so you can probably get away with submitting a small paper napkin with scribbles on the back if the organisers are desperate enough and give their approval.

If you're a complete module writing n00b, they're probably worth looking at -- they do at least mention all the important things you should be thinking about. If you're an old hand considering submitting modules to ICON, the guidelines will at least let you know what the ICON organisers are expecting.
