You are on the archive wiki. The new wiki is here. Sorry, Microsoft names their products with Wiki Words. Just another annoyance brought to you by Mr. B. Gates.

And since I can't find anything ripping off Microsoft in the piles of humor-mail that litters my inbox I bring you yet another alternative explanation to the Matrix:

Neo is a fanatical neurotic drug user who abuses mescaline to "escape" his everyday reality - which is sitting at a boring desk job at a software company in New York. Somehow his trip has taken him into another level of consciousness which is into the deepest realms of the imagination in his mind. Now he can escape into his world where he flies like superman and battles viruses that copies themselves. The sentinels are a representation of his fellow employees but they represent some form of negative control only because Neo has never gone out for one drink, and got to know them or watched football, instead he sits at home after work pretending to be a confused complex intellectual hacker. In reality he sits at home trying to hack passwords for the latest porn sites.
The "One" is his old high school sweetheart whom he never got to ask out because he was way too shy back then. The matrix is just a collection of terrible memories from nursery school where the kids used to give him wedgies everyday. "Morpheus" is a representation of his favourite hip-hop star gone intellectual. The "Architect" is a representation of his dad, but his dad doesn't want him to go out with Trinity (who he met in a chat room), he wants him to become a bachelor, hence taking the left door.
The anomaly represents his bladder problem - everytime he goes to the toilet he feels he has been there before, but in fact he goes 6 times every hour but the mescaline makes him forget that he was there. Amazingly enough, if you divide 6 by 2, you get 3, and 3 means Trinity. And if you multiply 3 by 100, you get 300 and add on another 3 and you get 303, which is the flat number where is stays in his crummy apartment. Coincidence? I think not.
Zion is Neo's Lego collection that he kept from when he was small but he has rebuilt it a couple of times since then. Somehow he can't get anymore people to play Lego with him anymore, although he needed 23 friends.
The Oracle was when his grandma visited him and told him to wake up and get his act together and come back to "reality" and stick to old traditional values.
