Power Corrupts

We need you!

The UN requires the services of highly skilled men and women to handle high risk situations involving the most powerful beings this small globe of ours has ever seen. That's right, Novas!

Your brief, to investigate situations involving our member nations and novas who threaten their soverentity. These operations will be fully supported by the UN and its related affiliates. Damage should be kept to a minimum and the injury of bystanders should be avoided.

We are seeking men and women with military histories or with experience in highly dangerous situations. Please send your forms to the address provided below.

The game is mainly based off the new Stormwatch comic book, wherein a group of baselines have been given the job of looking after the nova threat. All the characters will be humans, preferably with special ops training of some sort but other characters will be considered.

To this, I'll be adding 5 to 10 nova points to the mix and changing some of the mega-atrribute and power systems so that the players will be able to access the specially trained abilities of their characters. A sniper who can put five bullets into specific parts of the body at 200m before the perp hits the ground is just not covered in the normal creation rules for Aberrant.

This is my first attempt at DMing?, so the players will have to be trusting and able to take the few cock-ups I'll probably make. The game will either run after 8pm during the week or sometime on the weekends.

Tsk, tsk, Ian. Really. Five or ten-point novas??? Power does not corrupt! Look at me, the shining example of power cannot possibly corrupt in an Aberrant game. I say let there be 50-point nova games for everyone. I say why stop at 50, when you could play a universe-altering 100-point nova!? This would truly enlighten and bring new meaning to the phrase "power gaming"! HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!
