When we left the group last week they had just burst into the apartment of a suspected mole, a man the characters had been informed was a spy for the rovers. I quick search turned up a military grade comm. set and, amusingly enough, a sleepy and surprised mole. Charles quickly went to work on the man, applying his uniquely psychotic bent in order to try and squeeze some information from the fellow.

Unfortunately the group were interrupted during their impromptu interrogation session by a pair of well-armed, well-armoured and extremely unimpressed MPs?. The MPs? inform them(In loud voices) that this is a Bust. Reactions are mixed. Two player characters raise their hands, while another tries to explain the situation. Unfortunately Charles decides to try and throw the mole at the MPs?. Bad move. One "Freeze motherfuckers!" is all these Badlanders are willing to give. A quick burst of SMG fire later and Charles lies sprawled over the mole, a couple of smoking holes in his back beginning to leak some very very red fluid. The rest of the group give up their weapons without further argument and are escorted out. The MPs? call in some paramedics and Charles is carted off to the nearest hospital. The verdict: 6 weeks(game time) of recovery, no heroics and no chasing the nurses!

The others are led to the nearest lock-up, which is located quite near to the Town Representative's office. There they are stripped of anything remotely useful and tossed in the cells, after being told that the Town Rep. will be seeing them next morning. Nevertheless, whily tech-head that he is, Kyle manages to conceal his pocket communicator inside his prosthetic arm. After checking to make sure no guards are keeping an eye or ear on him, he calls the drop-ship. However, it's 3 in the morning and Kyle's bedside manners aren't exactly brilliant. He manages to totally piss off one of the techs, who proceeds to cut the connection, concluding Kyle is making yet another bad joke. Kyle then establishes contact with the other tech aboard the ship and gives him a somewhat less humorous rundown of the situation. The tech promises to call HQ and see if they can get something sorted out.

Kyle then moves onto the next phase of his plan. After some contemplation he manages to work out a means to use parts of his watch to short-circuit the cheapo lock on the cell door. A bit of god-like rolling later and the door is unlocked. Unfortunately, the guard is sitting just down the corridor and will certainly notice a cell door swining open. After some thought Kyle tries to communicate with Kevor. Using morse code he manages to tap out "Your mother is a dirty whore". After a bit more practise Kyle manages to relay his plans to Kevor.

Kevor decides to try and distract the guard by hurling insults his way. Unfortunately his grasp of the common profanity is somewhat amateur at best
and the guard ignores him completely.

Senten decides to try and add to the fun. He begins knocking on his door to irritate the guard. Eventually the guard comes over and threatens him
through the food slot with a taser. Senten agrees to cease. The guard turns and begins walking back to his post. At this point Kyle decides to open his door. As he does so and steps out, Senten begins knocking again. The guard turns angrily and then swears foully when he sees to open door. Kyle ducks behind the door while the guard pulls out his taser and orders Kyle to give himself up. Kyle decides to throw his watch at the guard. He fails miserably and it bounces off the man's boots. He then decides to bull-rush his captor and recieves a nice, hard, numbing bit of electricity that stops him completely in his tracks. The guard drags Kyle back to his cell and puts the boot in for good measure.

Hours pass and the meeting with the Representative draws near. About 15 minutes before the meeting the guard leaves. Half an hour passes and he doesn't return. Suddenly the building shakes and the power flickers. The doors unlock. Quickly takinf advantage of this situation the players open the doors and leave. Just in time, it seems, as the power flickers on again in a few moments. After a bit of work the group are able to force their way through the thick window by the security post. Rifling through some nearby lockers they find their possessions, some MP uniforms, a pair of auto-loading shotguns and a pair of assault carbines. After some consideration they decide not to don the MP uniforms. While Kyle and Kevor cover the exit and try to access the computer system, Senten and Bill descend to the next level in search of their mole.

Finding him, they begin another interrogation session. With the judicious use of a taser they manage to extract some information from the man. He claims to be an intelligence operative working for the CNCS. After a few more attempts to wring a confession of guilt from the man they leave. Exiting the building the group decides to make their way to the Town Representative's office. Moving carefully they manage to arrive without any encounters. It seems that the Oasis is under attack by the rovers and the whole place is chaos. Entering the Rep's office they discover the first floor has been shot to hell and the pretty secretary has lost a lot of hear physical appeal. Except for a necrophiliac. Hearing a sounds upstairs they carefully move upwards. There they find the Town Rep. being held hostage by a yound and rather scared Rover. The kid threatens to kill the rep. The players tell him to go right ahead, as they have no love for the man. This confuses the Rover. While Kevor covers the stairs Senten and Bill fan out, attempting to flank the youngster. After a few moments Bill is able to hit the kid, and the Town Rep. to boot, with a taser. Meanwhile, Kevor hears a noise downstairs. As he does so Kyle decides to cap the poor Rover in both his hands. The noise downstairs stops and then footsteps move towards the steps. Senten rushes over to the stairs and joins Kevor. Bill and Kyle, in the meantime, disarm the rover.

The MP who is making his way to their stairs puts his boots on the first step. Senten immediately open fire, narrowly missing. The MP ducks back around the corner and readies his assault carbine. A short exchange of fire follows but no one is injured. The MP ducks back around the corner and begins radioing for assistance. Senten decides to try and sneak down the stairs. His boots scrape the wall halfway down, however.The MP pops a burst of fire of, catching Senten in the side. Luckily his flak vest absorbs the shot. The MP gets of another burst of shots, but fails to do anything more than knock the wind out of tell. Kevor decides to join in the action. He attempts to run down the stairs and blast the MP at point-blank range. He trips, however, landing on his shoulder. The MP just manages to dive to the floor as Kevor fires his shotgun, taking out a piece of the ceiling. In the next 6 seconds the room echoes with gunfire as Kevor and Tell open up on the prone MP while the MP lets loose a burst at the similarly prone figure of Kevor. A few seconds later and it's all over. The MP lies partially dismembered by the force of the gunshots but Kevor has been mortally wounded. With a bit of luck the group are able to stem the bleeding but they have mere minutes to get him to a hospital or he will expire permanently...
