- *d@vid Mar 24 2004* so here's my nebulous thought: a visit to outers, particularly to show bobs where it is; we could take the train (like a practice run for the Icon trip!) and be there and back in an afternoon; of course it could be done individually and whenever, but a coordinated effort would be fun - hell, maybe someone will even buy something
- *d@vid Mar 25 2004* mike made a good point that this is the perfect opportunity for those without dice to buy some ;)
- WombatBoy 25 Mar 2004 and those with dice to buy MORE!
- InfernalRabbi 25 Mar 2004 This ~SiTe? haxxored by the ministry of proper dating.
- *d@vid Mar 25 2004* izzat some OkCupid thing? ;> people seem to think I'm actually organising something here, sheesh, okay then - how about sometime during the midsemester vac? people can either find their own way to outers if they have their own transport, and the rest can meet at a specific hour (at varsity?) to womble down to the rosebank train station -- whoever first confirms the price of dice at outers can post it here
- FirstFallen 26 Mar 2004 ok, straight from the panda's maw: singles from R5 to R15, sets (d4, d6, d8, 2d10, d12, d20) R28.50 to R115 (depending on shinyness), sets d10s R35 to R60. and d@vid, by "proper dating" i think Lucas meant the format (day month year) which seems more logical than your american (month day year).
- *d@vid April 02 2004* the details, they are in place
- *d@vid April 02 2004* thanks to Jo for the train times
- *d@vid April 22 2004* yeesh, no report back, but more than four people actually went, and we met up with crusty old CLAWmembers while there, joy ;)
