Mordheim

Mordheim is a skirmish-level wargame that bears a great deal of similarity to Necromunda, it's Warhammer 40K equivalent. As in Necromunda, players in Mordheim create and play warbbands of ravening psychos. The players lead these warbands single games or campaigns made up of numerous single games. As the campaign progresses warband members can gain experience. Skills, and other bonuses can be purchased using this experience, enhancing your warband's members as the campaign progresses. However, dead warband members are lost forever, along with all their experience and skills. Thus, a Mordheim campaign is similar to a roleplaying campaign in many ways, although it is focused entirely on combat and combat situations rather than roleplaying. Nevertheless, Mordheim is great fun and is very popular with the guys who run the Smelly Troll mail-order company(SA's own Wargaming mail-order people :-)
