The course will begin and end in
::MATHS 202 (ground floor, first lecture room on the right as you go in the South
Entrance).

All those wishing to run for committee positions should make sure
proposals reach the current committee by Monday 14 October.

Proposals should be in writing with two seconding votes. A proposal
should include what you plan to do with the committee position during the coming year.

Available positions along with the major portfolios are listed below:

(Never - The position is titled Guildmistress, irrespective of gender. Think of the chaos if we changed all committee positions to reflect the gender of their holders... ClawThing? changes to ClawThong?, Warlord to Warlady, Treasurer to Wife! Oh the horror, the horror! Guildmistress STAYS Guildmistress - GarethMojo) (So when did the title have its sex change operation? Last I remember it was Guildmaster. And I kinda like CLAWThong?. Perhaps this is a marketing opportunity? Buy the new CLAWThong? as worn by eldritch people near you! - AdriaanWessels)

1? Organising Dragonfire is a major task, especially since it normally comes just after organising the Icon trip and coincides with an edition of CLAWmarks?. What worked well this year was for the CLAWthing to dish out sub-tasks (Roleplaying, Wargaming, Magic, Anime, LARPs, Afterparty, Preparty, etc) to various other people and then to herd cats, organise everything that someone else has forgotten, fight fires, get sponsorship, etc. Your mileage may vary.

2? The Icon trip is a floating task which is usually delegated to any
member of the committee willing to do it.

3? Last year Webmonkey was an Ad Hoc position (see below).

    • Temporary members of the committee

These positions are appointed by the new committee at the beginning of
the new year.
