But how do I know it's dead� (AKA "Poke it with a stick")

Well, there comes a time in every campaign when the story fades, people move away, become bored, stab each other to death with really sharp D10's, etc...

When this happens and you know the chances of the campaign ever getting finshed are as good as the chances of Dragonfire starting on time...then you know the campaign has had it's FinalDeath.

Symptoms

Boredom
Fighting (Amongst players, not their characters)
Players missing multiple sessions without good reason. e.g. "I have to floss my cat."
Loss of Players
Dead Bodies
End of the World Due to Giant Tentacled Monster Invasion (Cthulu finds Roleplaying "Geeky")
