Session Two - Learning Can Be Fun, But Sex Is Better

After long deliberations of what they are going to put in their backpacks the four head off to Camps Bay. Michael ("Mike") and Lexi in Lexi's car. Dolev and Eugene ("G") in Eugene's car.

Mike talks non-stop about his "l33t" skateboarding skills, Lexi phases his voice out and when Michael does stop to take a sip of his Red Bull a thought crosses her mind "Hey didn't I have the radio on?". Meanwhile in G's car "Bump 13" is spinning in the front loader while Dolev (by now knowing what to expect from her "special" friend) plugs her headphones into her MP3? player letting Green Day cleanse her soul of that God awful commercial stuff.

They reach La Med's parking lot and walk (well everyone except Mike, he skateboards until they reach the stairs) to the field. In the center of the field they see a cloaked figure and as they get closer they recognize it as Elder Larissa. She smiles as they approach and motions them to follow her to the waterside. Elder Larissa goes through each person's "Gifts".

First to Mike. She asks him to close his eyes and see himself skateboarding. After a few minutes the rest of the group see a little "hologram" type image of someone who resembles Mike only slightly "buffer" and who skateboards a lot better than he really does. Mike opens his eyes and sees this for himself then blames Lexi, accusing her of slipping him acid (Yeah, like I would ever give him any of my Acid for free - Lexi).

Elder Larissa moves on to G. She tells him to put the beer can he was about to open down - "Save that for later please?" - when he does this she tells him to close his eyes and imagine the beer can floating. All except Mike (who is too busy creating mind forms of Claudia Shiffer) notice the beer can shake then slightly lift from the ground. When he finally notices, Mike freaks out. The can drops.

Larissa moves on to Dolev...
"You've been in many combat situations right?" Yes of course she has, as a soldier and as an officer.
"Did you ever find that you were luckier then others?" Well there was that one time after the blast when she walked away with minor burns and those around her had 3rd degree burns. Elder Larissa thinks then takes out a very ornate Athame and cuts her hand. Lexi and Dolev are slightly freaked out (Mike starts seeing colours cause he thinks he's on acid and so is actually creating them himself, and G is fiddling with the can).
"Imagine yourself back at the blast, imagine how lucky you were and think of the cut on my hand healing." Dolev does as told her hand starts tingling and she rubs it as Elder Larissa puts up the hand she cut and the cut is gone. Lexi is impressed, Dolev is perplexed, G manages to get the can to float straight and Mike throws some more acid accusations at Lexi while she suggests things he might be seeing.

Finally, Elder Larissa turns to Lexi. "Ever had dreams where you felt like you left your body?"
Well she's had flying dreams "Close your eyes and imagine you are flying"
Lexi does what she thinks is appropriate (she's seen them do this in meditating circles) she gets into the lotus position. Suddenly she is flying over the ocean, over islands and continents, mountains and rivers, she is free and loving it! She comes back in a jolt.

Now all four are back to paying attention to Elder Larissa, exhausted by there new experiences as (and they learn this now) their essence regroups. Elder Larissa gives them some exercises to do to improve their handling of their "gifts" and bids them farewell.(more to follow...very long session)

Lexi and D do some of the exercises that Elder Laryssa gave them...
Lexi discovers that she has Astral Projection, cleansing and Affect the psyche. D discovers she has Lesser healing, Blessing and Shielding.
When the boys finally stop messing around they also practice their exercises... G finds that he has Mind Hands and Soulfire.
Mike finds that he has Lesser Illusion, Insight and Farsight.

Once they feel completely exhausted the group stops and G, D and Lexi walk up to La Med while Mike stays behind to drink his own vodka and redbull.

G goes straight to the bar and orders a beer, and then while the bartender isn?t looking he uses Mind Hands to bring the beer to him. Although the Bartender wasn?t looking, some one else was, Linda. Linda walks up to G and starts talking to him about magik and the hit it off "romantically". Lexi and D are dancing and while Lexi targets John, a scrawny, nerdy shy type, D brushes past Gareth (Ye Ole Surfer Dude) on her way to the toilet to get his attention and gets snatched by him on the way back.

Mike joins later and stays later than the rest (who have by now gone off with their "romantic" finds). He joins a few people and together they go to the beach and keep drinking till morning.

Throughout the week the gang find out about the Antediluvians and the Rosicrucian?s from talk around campus and a guy in a black silk shirt with red dragons. Lexi exploits John's PC skills and Mike hits the library.

They end up going to Gandalf's on the Friday (G's game was only at 5 on Saturday so he didn?t mind going out Friday night).

Armed with the information that a guy named Gavin will be there and he apparently knows something about the Rosicrucian?s. They go and have fun. D trips over some guy named Garrik and lands on a guy named Reggie, which she progresses to make out with the rest of the night.

Sitting in the downstairs chill room, couch room, thing she over hears when Lexi brings Gavin in and flirts with him as a method of getting information from him, there is no luck in the matter and she lands up pissing him off instead.

That weekend nothing much happens. G has a good game and gets nookie from Linda. Lexi works.
