What is it?

Well, currently it isn't much more than a wild idea. Nevertheless, if I muck about with UnrealScript? and UT2003?, this is what'll I use to do my testing. The concept is basically that of adding a random quality factor to the weapons found lying around in UT2003?. Thus, instead of just picking up a Flak Cannon, you might discover that you've picked up a Vicious Flak Cannon of Speed, a weapon that fires faster and does more damage than the usual Flak Cannon. With this mod running weapon spawns would be given a fairly random factor, with there being a fairly good chance of a better than average weapon popping up. Sometimes, although not often, one might even be able to locate a unique version of some wapon or other. Unique weapons would have really powerful abilities, but often with certain detriments. Rare type weapons would also be spawned, although hopefully not as crap as the ones found in Diablo II, as well as a huge variety of magical weapons. I'm still divided as to whether things like Superior and Cracked versions of weapons should be allowed to spawn. Possibly this would be a toggleable option. Of course, none of this would be much fun if people didn't drop the weapon they were using when they died. Otherwise it would just take ages for a new really nice magic weapon to appear. So, players would drop some, or maybe all, of their weapons upon dying. To the victor go the spoils, as they say in Worms World Party, etc. :-)
