The Beastwalker
Character Information
From the snowy lands of the North comes the Beastwalker. Originally no more than a simple farmer, he was content to eke out a meager life in the hard lands of the North. However, his life changed abruptly after a powerful curse was laid upon him by a servant of the Prime Evils. Cursed with form of a mighty demon at ceratin times, he was turned loose on the world in the hopes that he would cause havoc among the various unoccupied cities and villages of the North. However, the Beastwalker's sheer willpower was underestimated and over time he learned to control his shapechanging curse, turning it into something of a boon. Nevertheless, the curse means that he can never be truly at him in human society again and thus he set out on a quest of revenge of, hopefully, redemption. The curse afflicting the Beastwalker allows him to shift his form to that of a powerful demon. As he gains in skill over the course of the game he gains the ability to take alternate forms, as well as a variety of form-specific abilities. However, when shape-shifted the Beastwalker experiences the effects of the curse fighting for dominance of his mind and body. As a result he will begin to lose both life and mana over a long period of time. Coupled with long delay between being able to alter form, shape-changing can be a deadly experience...
