Or is it application? Because Im not exactly sure if you can nominate yourself but then again, application sounds more like a job than a position. Not that this is any way relevant. Its just a way to make my application/nomination seem longer than it really is by pointlessly filling up space, thus creating the impression that there are many brilliant reasons why I should be ClawThing?. Cunning, eh?

So yeah. Why ClawThing?? Because people have told me to and I feel that being impressionable and blindly obeying the opinions of others is something CLAWS needs in a leader.

Ive got boatloads of RPG experience, canoe-loads of LARP experienceand a kinda-sad-rubber-dingy-thing-load of Magic experience. Ive been involved in the committee two years running, so I know what Im getting myself into (and yet Im still volunteeringGod knows why)

As GuildMASTER? (MASTER! DAMN YOU ALL!), I ran LARPs just about every varsity month (and on one notable occasion THREE in one month), tried valiantly to keep Monday Night Mayhem alive for the 1st semester, but watched it die on the operating table during the 2nd semester (For the record, I was approached once in six months by someone who was vaguely interested, and then they changed their mind. I figure its self-defeating to force people to attend and have fun, so that was that. Anyone who is still keen, PLEASE GOD, just talk to me. Or a committee member. Or anyone. Were not psychic, ya know.) and lets just not talk about the DMs Workshop.

So some successes, some failures.but all in all I think things went OK. There are a million-and-one campaigns running at the moment, so demand for MNM was low at the best, but LARPS are popular as everand I understand the Thursday Movie Evening is going well (Reuel and his DVDs just keep giving and giving And we still need to see you there... You do know that anyone is welcome, right? Well, maybe not that guy in the back... he smells, so not him... But everyone else... - Reuel) Dragonfire was a hoot-and-a-half (even with a sadly reduced Jo-burg contingent) and ICON was just <BJs FLASHBACK> Mummy
