I was going to buy them on Saturday, but I thought others might want to get stuff(TM) at the same time. So here is your oppertunity to get that thing(TM) you always wanted from Amazon. Lara ShadowsLight: OK, The Rand/Dollar exchange rate is at a nice low of around R6,30 to the dollar. I would like to buy the DVDs soon. If no-one edits this page to book a DVD (even if it is just to say I want this DVD, but I can't afford it yet) in more than a few days, I am going to go ahead with the purchase. d@vid: with the enemies of the state forcing the exchange rate up again (I knew I shoulda kept on wearing my tinfoil beanie) I just wanted to check if the loot is on its way and if there's an ETA - July 30 2004 ShadowsLight: Um... yeah... Just before Icon I had to replace the brakes on my car, and my spare wheel (this was why I had the most reliable car that drove up to JHB). That set me back R2500. Now I have discovered that my monthly rates debit order has not gone off for the last few months and I am R3000 behind on those payments... plus I need to pay for my car licence this month as well... Basically, it means that I am not going to be buying from Amazon any time soon. Luckily, we have the US presidential election in November, and the exchange rate should take knock everytime Bush gains an advantage. Sorry about that.
