BloodBowlOpenLeague

You are on the archive wiki. The new wiki is here. The 2005 Open League starts this Friday, the 15th of April 2005, and will be running right through the year until the end of varsity time.

The league will be run in an Open Format. This means it is up to the players to organise games and up to the players to play those games. All games MUST be played physically (Ie. NO Java Blood Bowl games will count). The general system for organising games will be to contact a player and challenge him or her to a match. However, each team must be separate and no resource pooling is allowed between teams. It also goes without saying that youy shouldn't enter teams into the League unless you can actually field them (Ie. You own the team or can borrow the team...).
The spiraling costs limit is set at 1500 000 gp

2005 Open league + Tourney
Runs until all the Teams have scored 10 league results or until 2005 academic year nears its end whichever occurs first. Remember space for exams and the final tourney will be needed to be taken into consideration. A coach is allowed to run an additional team but only one is allowed into the tourney at the end of the year.
All games in the finals and semi-finals of the tourney generate double income. Star Players are allowed to be used using the 1.7 rules.

League matches
1) One player may challenge another player for a League game ,the challenged team may allow another team who the challenger has not played in a league match to play in their stead. (If the other coach agrees to this arrangement.) 2)This game counts as a league game between the two teams who then play the match.
3)Only ten league results may be played during the course of the league per team.

Friendly Matches
1) Friendly matches to not count towards league results. 2) Ssp’s , income and injury results count towards the league.
3) If both players agree Dirty Tricks, Magic Spells, Pre match prep, ect. can be

            used.
4) Any number of friendly matches may be played, however no team may be played twice in row. Any opponent may decline a request to play a friendly game.

This league will be using the latest version of the Blood Bowl rules available as of the 15th of April 2005. Unless the Living Rulebook 2005 is released in that space of time this means that the Living Rulebook 2004 with the 1.71 Vault Rules Udates will be used. Teams must be constructed according to these rules and game should be played using them as well.

A list of players along with contact details and basic team info will be available in the next few days.
