AncientBlessingsYou are on the archive wiki. The new wiki is here. Ancient BlessingsThis is actually the home page for two possible games. At the moment Ancient Blessings is an Adventure! game in which the players are members of an archeological dig. That doesn't mean that you all have to be an archeoligist however. The second idea, yet to hav a working title, is a Trinity game in which the players play a bunch of humans sent out to set up a planet for colonisation. The Iulius Foundation wants you!The Iulius Foundation requires the expertise of a number of specialists in the areas of linguistics, archeology, anthropology and related fields for a proposed dig in the Southern region of France. Preferred knowledege regarding the period known as the Dark Ages is essential, though accomodation may be made for students and lecturers requiring field work for course credits or theses. Also required are the numerous support staff usually connected to a dig of this type. Please inquire at our offices in San Francisco, London or Hong Kong. Allowances will also be made for any members of the press wishing to be present at the dig. Please apply before October 5th, 1928. December 25th, 1927The early dawn light flooded the small chamber as a young man entered through the crumbling doorway. In one corner lay a few gnawed up bones, rats scittering away at the sound of footfalls. The young man surveyed the empty room, rechecking the notes he held before him. Ancient Blessings is set within the Adventure! universe. All the players will be inspired Daredevils, but with slightly reduced stats. Each character will have a minnimum inspiration of 5 to simulate the fact that they are luckier than others and will then have five or six points to use for increasing stats and buying knacks. The characters are generally considered to be the second person you would go to for various reasons. Not the best at what they do, but fairly high up there. Aeon TrinityWould you like to be one of the first on the new jump ships? Aeon Trinity and Orgotek Industries have been given the go-ahead by the world nations to set up the first corporate sponsored colony. However, Orseta, as the moon has been nicknamed, needs to be readied and made livable before we can move the colonists in. To this end, we require the expertise of experts in the areas of bio-spheres, hydropologies, terra-forming and related science and engineering fields. To this is added all the normal support staff positions, as well as exploratory positions since Orseta has not been completely explored on foot. Accomodation will be made for the families of those joining, either on-site or in Orgotek compounds. Please apply to our offices around the world for the further details. Thank you and God speed. Many people are going to complain that this blurb is arb and gives very little detail. Well, its suppose to be. The game is set in the Trinity universe, just after the jump ships become operational. Players don't need to know too much, since the first part of the story will not really deal much with the convential history of Trinity and any blurb I can think of would give too much away anyway. Players can play anyone, and I do mean anyone the want, just as long as they're human. My plan is to make this game about roleplaying, not rollplaying. This will be my second campaign, so anyone who does not mind a slightly inexperienced DM is welcome. Sign-up has begun. Get to it.
