AcuteIndecision

You are on the archive wiki. The new wiki is here. Given that I don't feel finishing my masters and lecturing in summer term is going to keep me busy enough I've decided to run a game over the vacation period. As usual, however, I'm somewhat undecided as to what to run so I've presented a few options below. Interested parties are invited to sign up in the slots provided although I reserve the right to refuse admission to the game on whatever grounds I feel are appropriate at any given moment.

General Details (Applicable to both games)

DM: Ryan

Players and availability: 4 players are sought for both games. I'm happy to accomodate one extra should there be a demand, however. Also, I'm hoping that both campaigns will be long-term projects so preference will be given to those willing to commit themselves to a 4-6 month game.

Time: Whatever is most convenient. My preference would be for an evening game but my lectures end at 3pm so an afternoon game from 4-7pm or something similar is also a possibility.

Venue: My apartment in Newlands. Players will be responsible for any travel arrangements that need to be made.

The Basil Hopworth School of Antiquarianism and Archeaology

System: D&D3E?

Setting: Eberon

Synopsis: Indiana Jones with Lovecraftian overtones and a dash of Hancock and Beauval. The players play lecturers at The Basil Hopworth School of Antiquarianism and Archaeology, the pre-eminent college of its kind in the known world. Expect play to involve a combination of mundane lecturing responsibilities offset by jaunts across Eberon in search of traces of the ancient peoples that walked the world in the days of pre-history.

Play-style will borrow heavily from the old Indiana Jones movies so feel free to dust off your copies and have a watch to help you get in character.

!Who watches the watchers?

System: Vampire 2nd Edition

Setting: Modern-day

Synopsis: The Red List details the kindred most wanted for crimes against their own kind. Amongst the deadliest beings amongst Caine's children these individuals are hunted by the Alastors, vampire bounty hunters who number former Archons and Justicars amongst their ranks. The players take on the role of newly-inducted Alastors who are quickly drawn into this ancient and little-seen conflict that will test their loyalties and reveal secrets that have been hidden for millenia.

Are you still considering running these games?
