AboutBloodBowlYou are on the archive wiki. The new wiki is here. Blood Bowl is the original and best of Games Workshop's Fantasy Football games. The idea is pretty simple, once you get down to it. Take American Football, change the rules, add a whole lot of violence plus a bunch of interesting races, such as Orcs, Skaven, Lizardmen, etc and what you have is a really fun turn-based game of footy with a distinct focus on violence in addition to funky passing-the-ball tricks... Currently Blood Bowl is maintained and updated by Specialist Games, a sub-division of Games Workshop. The rules are available for free, although you still have to get your hands on a board plus some teams. At present there is a fair amount of Blood Bowl activity in CLAWs, which means that if you want to start playing, now's the time... |
