We were at Canal Walk by 9am, and decided to get a McD?'s breakfast before starting. This was a novelty for me, as i have never been at a McDs? early enough for them to be serving breakfast. All i can say is: the 'sausage' is basically the same flavour as the beef patty, the McMuffin? is a bit heavy, but the hash browns are great! Then on to shopping, which went really well. By 1pm we were done in Canal Walk, with only a handful of pressies still to buy elsewhere. We decided to have sushi at Cape Town Fish Market to celebrate...and i can highly recommend them. Excellent conveyer-belt style sushi, with some of the most interesting things i've ever seen, like a maki made with a sheet of cucumber instead of nori. yum! Anyway, all but 2 of the pressies are now wrapped and under the tree. I feel so organised :-D lucas's party was cool. Nice mellow evening chatting to peeps. All good. Saturday was doomtown at al's (fun) and then dinner at alex's (his gran was leaving on sunday morning to go back to zim). alex's sister's bf organised crayfish, and all about saw that it was good. Sunday was a nice day at the family. Got my car's niggly little problems sorted out. Got alex's car sorted out and working. And my sister will be moving out in the next few weeks. All good. |
