Jeremiah Sandflea sails the Forgotten Wastes aboard his desertship Water Vacuum II searching for artefacts from before The Fall, pausing only to sell or study his finds. Born to into a small community of watersellers, Jeremiah was drafted into The Council of Nine's navy as soon as he came of age. He rose quickly to the rank of third mate and took part in both The Battle of Falling Stars and the infamous Battle of Lost Causes during which he lost his right leg.
