Added lines 2-5:

The Dubious Elephant is widely believed to be a myth, but a few tribes that are known to take heavily of hallucinogenic drugs like the Asphalt Agaric, have said they've seen it. The elephant is said to be a very large animal, roughly twice as big as a normal elephant, and it has purple ears, and a reddish tinge to its skin. This colouration is due to the elephant drinking only the reddish water available near radioactive sites.

Sightings in tribes that do not take hallucinogenic drugs are non-existant, leading many to say that the name Dubious Elephant is a good one.

Added line 1:
The Dubious Elephant is so named because a vision of one appeared to a seer, and when he told his fellow tribemates, they said it wasn't possible, and thus his claim is rather dubious. The seer held on to his belief, and the tribesmen have since called it the dubious elephant. The story has spread and even Cynthia Payne-Liss'Xtk is said to have looked for one.
