You are on the archive wiki. The new wiki is here. Hello!

My chair is a bit low. I suspect that this is because I'm a little on the short side!

Anyway, I am now doing Archaeology Honours! Yay! So I am here in the Honours lab and we have computers (clearly) and cubicles which we can lock. Yay! I'm going to bring a plant.

In other news, this thingie now appears blue. I don't know if it's just this computer or what, but it's MUCH prettier!

Also, for those of you who have not yet heard, I did some actual grave robbing! Yay! Of course, it wasn't real grave robbing because we had permission ... I did, however, get paid, so I'm very happy!
We were digging at Prestwich Place, which some of you might remember for being in the news a couple of years ago. It's in Green Point. Most of Green Point is a graveyard. Note: graveyards and cemetaries are different things. A cemetary is a formal burial ground with headstones and such like. A graveyard is a large piece of land with lots of unmarked graves. The majority of the people buried in our graveyard were from the 17th century or thereabouts. And included anyone who was not a member of the Dutch Reformed Chruch and therefore not eligible for burial in the cemetary. This includes Catholics, Jews, sailors, soldiers and slaves. So ... we dug them up and now they're stored in boxes in the Somerset Hospital Morgue.

So... I will probably be spending most of my time up here. {angry}If you want to find me, go to Beattie. Go up three floors (I do not advise using the lift, it's dodgy!) You should then be standing in the Archaeology Foyer. Face the lift. There are stairs going up to the roof level. Go up the first bit and, on your left, there is a door to the Honours lab. If it's open, you can get in. If it's not, you can't. I'm in cubicle C.:-p

And that's all I have to say today ... maybe I can steal a chair from the teaching studio for here...

If you go to open up the My Tiki menu and go to Preferences you should be able to find a place to set your Tiki Theme. Then you can have a blue tiki wherever you go.
