Bored ... bored ... bored...

I am sitting in the library searching their databases for stuff.
I like this better than the wiki. So far. Of course, this is only the second time I've been here. Last time was in the Engineering Department with Sean. His was blue. Why isn't mine blue? I like blue. I also like green. I think he told me about that, but I don't remember what he said.

The library is useless, it won't give me what I want. However, the Science & Engineering databases are much prettier (and easier to use) than Humanities. I'm glad I'm not a Humanities student, their library is icky.

I think the library is out to get me. Now it won't let me search Biblioline and a few minutes ago it wouldn't let me search anything else!

In other news, I finally got WombatBoy? to watch Dirty Dancing. Mmmm... I like Patrick Swayze in that movie. I just generally like that movie. Though there's no particular reason why. Maybe it's because I'm a girl. Occasionally I have girly moments. Sean, however, is squeamish! It's so funny to watch him hiding behind a cushion 'cause he can't watch a particular scene. Or because Pickle is attempting to lick him. Both very amusing!

Otherwise I went to Ashley's 21st the other day. The day after my birthday actually, a fact that most of the people there chose to forget. And the highlight of the evening was that an old friend of mine who has ignored me for about three years spoke to me. And was friendly. Of course, she started by emailing me a month or two previously. I don't think that that was planned specifically for this occasion, after all, she remembered my birthday and wasn't expecting me to be there. But it was nice.

My fig tree fell over the other day. We used to have three fig trees, two lemon trees and an avocado tree. We put our hammock in the avocado tree. Then we cut it down. I don't know what happened to the hammock. We cut down two of the fig trees too. The lemon trees are busy dying and the last fig tree died. And then it fell over. Luckily it fell towards the lemon tree rather than my room, which wouldn't have been so much fun. Especially since I was in my room at the time.

Could someone please explain to me why, when I am searching for Homo erectus, H. habilis and Telanthropus capensis, it insists on giving me stuff about birds, fish and Homo sapiens in East Africa. At least it hasn't given me any of the Asian material yet, but I'm sure that's coming! One of the articles was titled Homo ineptus.
