Ok - well my old AngelNotes? page has been left in order in case this new blogging format pisses me off, but I doubt that it will. I am right pleased with my avatar. :-D This weekend has been a bit strange for me - spent most of it at home and din't see anyone - I hope that you all had a rocking weekend. Insomnia is a bitch, so spent a lot of Saturday trying to get some sleep. Also been reading Sandman which is really awesome. Yes - I was once again in OuterLimits? on Friday spending me inheritance from my now deceased great aunt. I repeat - I am not uber wealthy, just have a bit of cash at the moment to spend on stuff that I really like. But enough about that - hate talking money. For those who don't know and might care - I added to my tattoo last Saturday (2/10). I am really pleased with the way it turned out. If anyone is interested in getting one (or many - the damn things are addictive) done then I recommend that you visit Incline tattoo and piercing parlour in Claremont (down the alley where Cavendish Guns is). They're a really cool bunch of people and Ferdi, the tattoo artist does a great job. So that took two hours (with a pause for coffee and nicotene) and it was well worth it. Shame, the lady who was booked after me (at 8pm) was sooooo nervous and she couldn't believe that I was laughing and chatting. She was really feeling the pain and I felt so sorry for her (different people feel pain in different ways - it wasn't really sore for me, but who am I to judge). Oh yes, SchpatCON? was an absolute success this year - thank you very much to Schpat, the rest of the hard working module writers, play testers and organisers and to the awesome group of people who turned up to play. Everyone seemed to have a really good time and we made a profit for the kitties !!! (For those who don't know - the profits go to a charity to trap and sterilise stray/wild cats). Schpat roped Stu and myself in to help write a LARP (By invitation only) and it was great to exercise some of my long dormant creativity. People seemed to enjoy it which was a great relief !!! And they want to run it again on Friday 15/10 so if you missed it and are interested I recommend that you contact one of the friendly committee members. The after party was GREAT !!!! Debauchery and many laughs - thanks to everyone involved. Have started a Forgotten Realms campaign DM'd by Waynne on Wednesdays, but my other two campaigns are going to be winding down for exams soon.
