ItSOnTubeYou are on the archive wiki. The new wiki is here. My work has this elaborate arrangement of naked cathode ray tubes hanging from the ceiling in reception. They're just tube, speakers and circuit board, and against all reason, working quite well. There's about 11 of them (plus a few others hanging in strategic placea around the building, and each of the is showing a different channel silently (except the one the receptionist watches, which is always VH1? and the only with speakers on). So imagine my surprise when after a brief date with the toilet I walk back past these tvs and see Michelle. On tube. It's silent, but I guess it's something about sutherland or something similar. Oh well. Good on ye. |
