    Greetings

OK... due to popular demand, the movie night at my house is back to Wednesdays (the poker game has been cancelled for the Summer Season). Everyone should try to be at the house at 18:30, so we can start early. Pizzas and Coke as per normal. Directions can be found here: http://claws.uct.ac.za/TheTome/ThursdayNightMovieDirections

This week I have downloaded "Clerks II: The Passion of the Clerks" for your viewing pleasure. And, as an added bonus for holiday viewing, we will be watching a second movie. The second movie will be one of the most awful, terrible, ridiculous movies you have ever seen... For your MST3K'ing pleasure (if you thought Dark Wolf was bad, you ain't seen nothing yet). So far, I have downloaded the following "gems":

Barely Legal Lesbian Vampires (In my defence, I thought I was downloading porn when I started this one downloading) Jesus Christ Vampire Killer (The second coming of the Lord, back to kick Vampire ass) Bloodsuckers (Buffy meets Battlestar Galactica... Vampires in Space!!) The Covenant (The Craft + Matrix + Lost Boys + X-Men + Warlock + Thelma and Louise...) Slip (The Sixth Sense meets Ghost Whisperer... I see dead people, and they want me to do stuff) Bring it on: All or Nothing (Bring it on 3... Enough said... Though it does star Hayden Panettiere from "Heroes") Butterfly Effect 2 (they found actors WORSE than Ashton... Need I say any more?) Ginger Snaps Back (Ginger Snaps 3!!!! In the past... How can it not be bad???)

I also have a whole bunch of otherwise decent movies for the first half of the evening... Such as:
Beerfest (brought to you from the same guys that did "Super Troopers" and "Club Dread") A Scanner Darkly (Philip K Dick novel, brought to you by Richard Linklater in all it's rotoscoped glory) How to eat Fried Worms (Heartwarming coming-of-age movie... Geek stands up to a bully) The Toybox (Good British Horror movie) Severance (Very dark British Comedy/horror)

And a movie I do not know if it will be good or truly awful:
Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby (Will Ferrel and Sacha Baron Cohen...)

I will be downloading Borat as soon as there is a DVDrip available... Are there any movies you want to see?

    Cheers

    Roo
