Movie: The Gamers
OK... so here are the problems.
- TV on Wednesday sucks ass at the moment
- I started ThursdayNightMovies to meet more CLAW people, but right now I end up chasing people for pizza orders, chasing people for money and then pizza distribution and don't actually have much time to socialise
- I also started ThursdayNightMovies to get to see some of the many movies from my collection that I have never seen. However, to date that only includes Mists Of Avalon (which became MST3K? material after 90 minutes) and Rollerball (which was MST3K? material before the plastic wrapping was removed).
So, this is the solution. I will be watching a movie or two (of MY choice) every Wednesday. People are welcome to join me.
How the evenings will be run:
- I chose the movie, and I'll inform everyone long before the time what movie I will be watching
- Starts at 19:30 sharp
- Eat before you get here (or bring your own supper, I have a microwave)
- Standard CLAW rule for seating applies (the 5 second rule)
- If the movie warrants it, MST3K?'ing is allowed (even encouraged)
- Munchkin, Chez, etc are not on offer, and I will be kicking you lot out at 12:30am.
- If you want to watch a particular movie, I can be bribed (sexual bribery is the most effective)
- If TV on a Wednesday gets good again, the movie watching portion of the evenings evenings will end (y'all can still come over to watch the TV, tho)

PS. And just to break my own rules (wtf they are my rules to be broken), next week after the movie (which is only 45 minutes long, but is apparently brilliantly funny; it is a fan made film of a typical bad D&D style game cutting between the players and their characters) I will be playing Chez Greek... just so I have played it before demo'ing it on Sunday at Schpatcon.
