If you have difficulty installing a client, Furion has a CGI web interface here: http://www.chat.web.za/. Just type in a nick, select #claws from the menu (it's ordered by number of people in the channel, not alphabetically), and go. You get a tabbed interface in your window, which greatly resembles a standard IRC client.
For the moment, you do not need a registered nick to join #CLAWs; we may put the restriction back if there are too many drive-by asshats.
