"REUTERS – A new buzz seems to be doing the rounds of the technology industry as insiders say that Sercutio Technologies is on the verge of announcing a revolutionary new product. This news comes out of the blue as Sercutio have quietly built themselves up in the market on the back of their innovations in the oil industry and their much smaller aerodynamics department. This has been given a major boost in recent months through the securing of major government contracts, but sources say that these contracts are still years away from fruition.
But the talk in coffee shops around town hints at a private function later this week for a select group of investors and scientists to unveil this new technology, that rumours say will revolutionize whatever industry it is applied to. Is this just hype though, created by Sercutio’s PR department, or are we seeing their first big challenge on rival Korus Technologies since the two companies formed after the dissolution of Queron Technolgies ten years back.
Time will tell us the answer, but if the rumours are even mildly true, this reporter is envious of the scientists, politicians and socialites that are believed to have been invited. For the rest of us, we will just have to wait for an official announcement and until then wonder why we didn’t buy stocks in the company as their share price creeps ever upward on the back of these rumours.
